  1. "flashbacks" are a myth meant to scare people, just like "LSD causes chromosome damage". It does cause some mild persisting effects, eg seeing faint snowflake patters where there used to be just visual snow. I don't know if anyone knows why it does that, because it's completely metabolized by the body.
