  2.  Don Shepard  50/50 is the opposite of unifying. Within a year the weak Biden administration is going to be on the ropes. His base wants to destroy the domestic petrol industry and move back to ME dependence. We already are moving troops into Syria. Of course by then, Biden is not even going to be able to work or function.

  3.  Don Shepard  Biden's base, apparently, doesn't know that the only non-fossil fuel energy source which could replace it is nuclear. Seriously, your side's knowledge on such practical matters is that of the Underpants Gnomes. It's a repeat of the idea of methanol. "Renewable" until people found out that it takes more energy to produce than you get out of it. So it was just a government subsidy.

  4.  Don Shepard  They've been putting up solar and wind farms all over the US for decades. And it amounts to 9% of the power grid. That's only supplementary. It can't make the core of the power generation. What, are you going to not use electricity at night? Or, if the wind stops blowing. These "renewables" also have environmental problems. Toxic chemicals used in solar panels, lithium batteries, windmills killing birds. The improvements in pollution and CO2 are from gas production, which the Democrats oppose.

  5.  Don Shepard  51/49 isn't unifying. That's much smaller difference that the margin of error. And if it worked that way Biden will get impeached. He's already pissed off his union base in just 3 days, by canceling Keystone and freezing drilling.
