  1. Doomed. As a field tech, I've been to a handful of landfills that capture the methane produced by the decaying trash and use it to run engines to generate electrical power. At a landfill in central Pennsylvania, I saw garbage trucks lined up at the gate from all of the surrounding states including New York and New Jersey. Those states were exporting garbage hundreds of miles because their states were already full. Also, now I'm eyeballing that plastic thermostat housing on my 2006 Miata. 😂
