  2. With respect to Danielle DiMartino Booth, Australia isn't standing up to China. They merely called for an independent investigation into Covid-19 in China. China responded with economic sanctions and Australia downplayed those sanctions as just "paperwork" problems by Australian businesses. The Australian government literally blamed Australian business for China's sanctions on Australia. Furthermore, Australia is still exporting its Iron to China at record levels, iron that is then used for China's global monopoly on steel. Australia has increased its export of its coal to China as well. Make no mistake, Australia has not stood up to China. A solution is for Australia to slow down or halt iron exports to China and the US picking up that void. The US wants a steel industry, striking a deal with Australia to provide them with the Iron they need to make steel will cause a massive slowing down of China and a shift in the US global market share of steel.
