  8. Casey Briggs covered this in I think it was Ep 2 or 1 of America, Are you okay. Different states have different rules. I think it is Texas where a gun licence is acceptable but college or uni ID is not. I wish he’d asked whether gun licences are pricey and do you need to buy a gun or just the license.

If Hawke said that it was before the 1983 election as he promised electoral reform if he won which he did and then accomplished it the following year 40 years ago when he instituted an independent, public and permanent Electoral Commission, disclosure of donations to political parties and the regulation of unfair political advertising.

  16. I think the billionaire is in jail. I recall at the time that he had set up a Ponzi scheme and using HK activists as pawns then pulled the rug. The bigger question is all Bannon and JD Vance’s other connections with ultra right wing nationalist Catholics and their think tanks and Universities - the anti pope kind. They’ve got a very large media and bot ecosystem that outsiders aren’t privy to.
