@leechgully I’d only just noticed; last week he said he was a libertarian and the week before he decried the banning of plastic straws which was a brave admission because it says he doesn’t care about micro plastics in the environment but also that he doesn’t mind people knowing he has the culinary habits of a five year old. I wonder what Craig Reucastel would have to say to him. It’s also odd because libertarians are very niche in Australia and that club is totally utterly bonkers.

@kensvideos1 Kwanzaa is a non religious festival that celebrates African Culture, rather like NAIDOC week here. The family of Ms.Harriss’ father were slave traded from Africa to Jamaica, just as black people in America were also slave traded from Africa to America. I can’t see your problem. Have you never celebrated St. Patrick’s Day or Oktoberfest or some other?

They are journalists, so that would have been wrong and the optics of that would have been counterproductive. Can you not imagine how different the headlines would have been if they had booed him? But their jaws dropped at the jaw dropping comments he made and then when he doubled down and made a laughing stock out of himself, they sniggered and it was a good result. They should invite him back again, because idk her name sorry, but as the journalist interviewed here said - he just can’t help being himself. Just too bad that some Americans find that attractive.

@leechgully My partner has just recovered from a removal of a skin cancer on his lip - they had to cut thru the chin to get it all out. He still can’t laugh smile but for a good while he had to drink from a straw, eat from a small teaspoon. There are straws that are bigger and stronger than the kind there were before plastic straws were the go. And they were available at the local supermarket. He had no problem.

I think you missed something in the Kamala/Indian clip the Trump campaign was using to damn her; it was that she is from South India where the Trump like Modi is so unpopular they drove him into coalition govt. When Modi travels to the west we all see the adulation he receives; so many of his followers live in the West even if they conduct their businesses back home. This attack, as well as the choice of J.D.Vance and his wife from Northern India can only make sense if you consider the Modi diaspora. Vivek said he was from the South - but every minority has its traitors.
