  3. Canada is another land giant with similar riches that earns a living in the same way that the Russians do. The average Canadian controls 4 times the wealth of an average Russian. An average Canadian man lives 16 years longer than the average Russian male. Canada's economy is larger than Russia's despite having 1/4 of Russia's population. Russia is a poor, unhealthy place and there is no one else to blame for that situation but the Russian people themselves.
