  2. The fortified positions will be prisons for the Russians if they don't get food, munitions, support. The Russians are pouring more mobilized conscripts into those fixed positions and if they can disrupt the logistics (even more than the incompetent Russians do) the hungry, demoralized Russians will break and run ... best case is that they mutiny. There are hints now that mutiny is a real possibility.
