  1. Russia does not have the mass of submarines that they had in the Soviet Krasni Flot. They will be onesies and not in anything resembling wolf packs. There is considerable antisubmarine expertise in the NATO navies and the real issue is the danger that those poor Russian slobs down in those rust bucket boats will face. Secrecy? SOSUS ended that back in the 1960s.
