Illegals entering Canada after transiting the United States is a real, actual problem that has involved as many as 40,000 transients in a year. A couple of years back, a family froze to death in Manitoba while crossing the border on foot from Minnesota at the height of winter.

@boki1693 Google: "Roxham Road Crossing" and read about one of the border points that illegals have used to cross into Canada from the US. The Mounties are trying to seal it right now.
