  1. The radicalized right will never change their spots. They won't have any epiphanies ... no "road to Damascus" moments are pending. This will become a low level civil war (hopefully) because the alternative will be an out-and-out Red-State vs Blue-State one that could kill a few million Americans and leave the Republic shattered on the floor of history.
