  1. Russia has neither air superiority or air dominance/air supremacy (the latter the US achieves in every war since 1991). Russia needs a functional aircraft carrier or two and sufficient air tankers to achieve air supremacy in any war (against the US or NATO the Russian Air Force dies). The US has 650 air tankers, Russia I think has about 20. Russia lost about 80 fighter jets, Ukraine about 70. In 2014 Ukraine lost I think over 20, Russia 2.
