  1. one thing asimov didn't really get around to doing is exploring AI as their own people. the three laws are great for slave robots, which is kind of exactly the failings in his stories he explores but they don't give robots free will asimov also foresaw big corporations and the ways the rich will isolate themselves from society, and ultimately wither away as a result of that isolation. Robots of Dawn always read like a planet of the rich, especially since his main character was from an earth that was dirty overcrowded but not quite a dystopia for some reason, but by the next robots book that world is no more as the rich and their eccentricities ended up withering away
