  2. Hopefully she shared the generosity she received and didn't keep it all for herself. I know we used to have to tip out busboys and bar staff, but cooks made full wages, as opposed to the rest of us, so there was no need to.

  5. Yes, I loved a generous tip in my former waitressing days, usually from smokers in the smoking section that was allowed at the time. If they got money to spend on smokes and booze, they certainly aren't worried about forking over another "few bucks" in my experience.
