It's not like Romania is such a powerhouse and a limited attack on oil rich Romania yum yum. 2) Turkey supplied tungsten from the get-go. Tungsten is a dense metal and makes a great armor piercing shell. No turkey no tungsten no special rounds for panzers. All those mountains and the agean make invading Turkey no easy task. Especially if it's going to give Stalin the perfect chance to strike.
