  1. I wasn't confused until I saw your comment. I again went back to legal experts, including our legal editor, Bhadra Sinha, to check what the SC meant. Our understanding is when the court spoke of prosecution success rate, it boiled down to conviction rate. We may be wrong in our interpretation but, frankly, I'd like to hear from the SC on this. Any way, thank you so much for alerting me. I don't mind being judged wrongly at times- as long as someone is there to point it out and correct it. I must therefore, thank you for drawing my attention to something that I didn't think about earlier.
