  3. Thank you for sparing your time to share your views, Soham. I don't think the BJP is focusing less on its welfare politics. Just that the pandemic has taken over. The last budget did show the reforms push but we have to wait to see if they will fructify. I agree to your assessment of Himachal and Uttarakhand. The Congress does seem to have a good chance in those states but I don't see the party making any efforts to capitalize on the weaknesses of the BJP governments. So typical of the Congress

  5. Fascinated, yes. But I won't call it 'machinations'. Every party has its own electoral strategy, whether I or you like it or not. For political animals like you and me, who want to look at it without bringing our political or ideological beliefs in it, the game plan is certainly fascinating- and I am speaking for myself here
