Agree with you, Sumit, it's normal. But you are being a bit unfair to a journalist who is just pointing out this normalisation

You are making all the right points, Sir. My only question is how we differentiate between revdis and freebies. Our politics shouldn't define it.

Thank you so much

@libshastra Thank you for writing. Frankly, I don't know about this RBI Guideline, distinguishing the two. I must look it up tomorrow. As for how this 6k works for farmers, I would rather expect the government to spend more money on spreading info among them about what to grow and what not to. They look so hapless. Rains or no rains, they would sow crops that are linked to MSP. They see what crops worked or didn't work the last season. It's so politically unpleasant to ask our farmers to change the cropping pattern! Our farm infrastructure is so bad! Having said that, I am not an agricultural economist and so, I can's weigh in much on this complex subject beyond what I hear from policy-makers and experts.

Aside, should be interesting to look at our suppliers in Australia and Indonesia. I don't understand much about these things and so I should keep my mouth shut

Agree, absolutely. I should think of doing an episode that brings you all these relevant data to show how freebies are making a mess of fiscal accountability. Just that I am not competent enough in this domain to talk about it. Thank you so much for writing.

Thank you. I go where my colleagues in the video team take me to 🙂 I must let them know that they're right and I'm wrong about this change

I can only see debris elsewhere 🙂 And I don't think you want me to talk about it

Thank you

Sure but can I can see your true face, please?

@shekhar1438 I am so sorry. I was trying to be funny but it was obviously a very poor attempt. Coming to your question, I think it's moree because of the fact that the people were increasingly getting disillusioned with the political class when Modi brought a fresh wind of hope. They continue to repose faith in him because his political adversaries have done nothing to regain people's trust.

That's what these lines do to you 🙂

Well, I must agree with you, no matter how much I may dispute the details
1
Absolutely...can't agree more

Hi, my only submission herw is that every bit of criticism shouldn't be treated as propaganda. Let me and you have the liberty to disagree with each other on certain issues. That's the kind of democratic discourse we should have in #PoliticallyCorrect. Thank you so much for writing.

You can't ask a Ghonchu to not talk like an idiot, Sir! Leave it to you

Let's hope so

Some of my friends here are asking why I am not talking about the Gandhi's of the Congress. I think I should talk a bit more about them even though I am so bored with saying the same thing again and again. Anyway, for now, if you could spare some time, please watch my old episode on Rahul Gandhi https://theprint.in/opinion/politically-correct/five-lessons-for-rahul-gandhi-from-what-machiavelli-said-500-years-ago/561842/?amp

Agree to most of what you say. Only that I find them so non-chalant! As if people's perceptions and views didn't matter!

Thank you

Thank you for writing. We should agree to disagree on some points. That's what democratic discourse is all about. But I will certainly try to come up in future with more things to convince you about things you disagree to.
