Yes, thank you for understanding us and our journalism. I can't pretend to know about Maharashtra better than Manasi. She is based there and has covered it for two decades. The same holds true for many of my colleagues in other states. I can pretend to know more about their states but I know people like you will catch me instantly.

I am afraid we don't have the wherewithal, Shreyas. Wish we could!

I don't know what you think about that school of journalism, Sir. But I can vouch for my colleague. She is one of the best we have. She is one of the most intelligent and objective journalists in a very complex world of journalism in Maharashtra. May I request you to read and listen to her a bit more? I am sure you will change your opinion.

Thanks for liking it

Enamoured! Hmmmm...maybe I was getting too frustrated with politics, not governance, dominating the discourse in the past three years or so and Shinde sounded like a welcome departure...but yes, I am probably getting excited a bit too soon. Let's wait and see how he delivers

A very intelligent question I can't answer. But I am not sure if even Uddhav has the answer today

It's our loss. Your appreciation, criticism, feedback- all these have made us do better. We have no grudge about your decision to switch. After all, there are many journalists outside ThePrint who are working equally hard. What actually hurts is the fact that you find us leading towards a particular side. All our endeavour has been to stay objective. We certainly need to take your feedback seriously. Thank you so much for being a part of ThePrint family thus far. We will miss you.

I am sure you don't want me to become a 'yes, Sir' guy 🙏

I don't want to be neutral, Sir. I have to be objective. I don't know why I gave you the impression that I have changed but trust me I haven't. Objective journalism is what I live for. Yet, if intelligent and non-partisan viewers like you think I am losing it somewhere, I would love to hear where and how. I am always ready to be corrected. That's the only way we can improve.
