Now do a video on how the British Empire wasn't really the biggest unless you hypocritically count oceans of sand but not oceans. The Spanish Empire during the Iberian Union was the biggest objectively.

@Ooog__ Earth's surface is more than landmass. You're moving the goalposts to try to make Brits look better than they were. You didn't even read my comment which points out that only hypocrites count wastelands but not seas with more value. Just 1 whale has more worth than all of Australia's deserts for example. Brits had to share every ocean with France. Felipe II during the Iberian Union monopolized most oceans in the universe. Spain is number 1.

@miguelsilva1446 No, you clearly do not understand mya rgument, or chose to turn a blind eye. The Brits NEVER monopolized ANY ocean, ever. They had to share ALL with France and others. The Iberian Union under the Spanish Emperor actually DID monopolize oceans: most of them, including the biggest in the cosmos! Brits never ruled as many waves. They are overrated mere FOLLOWERS of Iberian trailblazers, and they raped Portugal of its routes and lands.

The Spanish Empire at its height was the Iberian Union under the Spanish Emperor with the capital in Spain because it wasn't an equal union. Felipe II ruled the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans without compettent rival for a generation or so. This is why the Spanish Empire was the biggest ever. Brits will always be second place.

@Ooog__ As I already explained to you, the Iberian Union was the Spanish Empire at its maximum extent. Portugal was conquered by Spain, and many Portuguese were killed for the Spaniard to take the throne. You don't know what you're talking about, and now you're trying to change the subject to the armada against pirate island.
