  2.  @mergenmongush5492  For the last 30 years, Western companies and technologies have been present in Russia, and for those 30 years the West hoped that Russia would get rid of its imperialist inclinations and become democratic like other European countries (except Belarus). That this was faulty reasoning we see in this war, although already the Chechen, Georgia and 2014 Ukraine wars gave signals to this. Russia, impoverished after this war (which it will lose economically), further depressed by separatist movements (probably bloody civil wars) in individual governorates, will break up into 30-50 small states.
