Every sane person knows that powerful Armed Forces help a country to maintain independence. An independent country provides an independent political course. By comparison to some US colonies such as Japan, Germany or Poland. They have no independent political course, like lap dogs they bark left and right according to command of their American master. As for brands, you are talking about coca-cola, right ? Do you think that drinking coca-cola or eating Big Macs make indian people happy ? Indian people happy when they are able to buy a cheap gasoline, a fuel which is made of Russian oil. In short, Russian tanks, submarines, combat airplanes as well as cheap fuel really help India to be a regional power.
