The US coup has failed despite the terrible sanctions forced upon a democratic country. It's funny how vice is called left wing yet backs US imperialism.

Nice conspiracies. Colectivos have done wonders for Venezuela and local democracy.

The president is democratically elected and the assets of the country have been stolen by illegal sanctions. Bolton and Pompeo have been openly discussing military options with their puppet Guaido. How am I the bot when you blindly listen to corporate news?
8
Aria Casteal because fucking Jimmy Carter admitted elections were fair when Chavez was in power and so do hundreds of NGO’s more recently. Stop listening to American state news that serves corporate interests.
6
T WE clearly know more than you. You get your info form American state news.
5
Jose M. Leon it’s the opposition burning supplies and people alive. The police in France are far more violent not to mention the majority of Venezuelan protests are now pro government.
5
Manuel Rendon ok so you’re completely wrong. Sanctions were put in place the moment Chavez was elected at the start of the fucking century and your lack of knowledge on this is shocking. According to a fair and free election half the country supports Maduro and you can see pro government protests regularly overshadowing anti government ones. Obviously the rich middle class that have the time and money to comment on YouTube on anti government propaganda videos won’t like the government.
4
Manuel Rendon Maduro still has the backing of the working class. Anyone from Venezuela who says things were better before Chavez clearly benefitted from the oppression of the poor before he came to power. The rich don’t blame the US for it’s terrible sanctions because they can’t wait to exploit the poor again.
3
TURD BURGLAR yes as a Russian I can confirm despite our population exploding Stalin ate 3 quintillion babies.
2
peter marcus you sound like fucking trump, daddy must have given you all the money and now you’re better than the rest of us. Goes to show the type of people who are against Venezuela.
1
Markus Allen Yeah exactly as I said the poll was done by a pro opposition group so probably underestimates Maduros popularity. The majority of people who support neither person are usually still pro Chavez as well.
1
Venus Left Yup, they just distract their country from US imperialism with dumb identity politics.
1
E S oh right, didn’t realise guiado supporters held PSUV banners.
1
E S colectivos are separate from the state and are as close as you can get to true direct democracy. Similar to the YPG in Syria.
1
Cusimi Looking I don’t really listen to middle class Venezuelan arguments because Venezuela was a terrible country before Chavez overhauled everything.
1
Karltural Marx thank you. We can also add that the New York Times admitted that the opposition burned the aid America tried to get through from Colombia as a Trojan horse.
1
Almighty42 CIA can’t do shit to Cuba that’s the beauty of the revolution there. They literally failed an invasion.
1
ElPaisa no but I have heard first hand from those in the oil industry in Venezuela about the exploitation of the country before Chavez and as a Russian, I am against the collapse of the socialist system like what happened in my country and I have done a ton of research into the chavistas accomplishments in power and why the country is now in economic crisis.
1
Halina Koval Obviously you haven’t.
1
Rafael Bermudez no
1
Rafael Bermudez and how is it that I don’t know about it?
1
Rafael Bermudez ok send me it when you have the chance. Just know I’ve looked at this from every angle and researched it a lot to decide for myself if Maduro really is the dictator he’s made out to be.
1
Rafael Bermudez Woah, Chavez doubled GDP per capita, halved infant mortality and decreased poverty by 2 and a half times and you say it was better in the 90s. The 20th century saw Venezuela’s rich sell out their country to America and kill those who opposed them. How much were you paid as a director of aquatic operations? The point of socialism isn’t to keep the rich happy so obviously you aren’t a fan of this huge progress which will continue once the country emerges from an economic crisis caused by America.
1
Rafael Bermudez forgot to mention unemployment was also cut in half.
1
Rafael Bermudez GDP per capita is the average person in the countries income per year, did you think I meant the country’s GDP?
1
Rafael Bermudez For the second time I am talking about GDP per capita and it’s funny how you explain the situation exactly how it was before chavez. He was the first leader to actually put the oil wealth in the hands of the people. How long ago did you leave Venezuela?
1
@AlejandroGonzalez-wo5fk I smell someone that cant accept their side burns and kidnaps chavistas.
1
Edwin Pin I just look at internationally accepted data and talk with working class chavistas. All you do is tune in to Fox News.
1
Manuel Aljibes Rosas CIA actually. Nice try.
1
E S Funny that you don’t have a basic concept about collectivos and local democracy. They don’t get paid by the government, they are neighbourhood collectives which are the purest form of democracy. Last time I checked it was chavistas who were being burned alive on the streets.
1
Cusimi Looking Do you live still live there? My point to the other guy still applies however if you’ve seen evidence of collectivos acting the same way as right wing thugs yes that’s terrible.
1
Cusimi Looking Can I ask if you are wealthy or working class, if you live in Venezuela now and if you originally supported the socialist movement?
1
E S What I’m saying is exactly that NYT and CNN don’t know anything about what is going on. They push for regime change in Venezuela just like they did before Iraq.
1
E S The only foreign assholes are millionaire oil tycoons living in Miami that think they know everything about the country they fled the day Chavez was elected. It’s a shame that your friend was shot, it shows that unfortunately some people in collectivos go as far as western police do with their citizens. Collectivos have however brought local direct democracy to the poor of Venezuela and helped distribute government aid. They are independent of the government however support it due to its socialist project. It is weird though how it’s chavistas who are burned alive on the streets by thugs.
1
Cusimi Looking I should do some reading? Maybe you should look at the most recent poll from a Venezuelan opposition group that admits 42% of people back Maduro compared to the 36% of people who back Guaido. This shows Maduro is more popular than most western leaders.
