@whitescar2 Agree with everything you say here. To think Putin will fall once Crimea has been taken back is another one of those wishful thinkings people have. Putin isn't just anyone, he won't fall so easy.

Putin won't consider anything else but winning some way or other, or not losing maybe I should say, he will throw anything at UA just to keep them occupied for as long as possible even if he knows he can't win. I doesn't care about other humans, and his life is on the line. Nevertheless I agree with you, end this asap.

@whitescar2 Yes absolute agree. I think I missed your point a bit earlier, the dribs and drabs giving the Russians the false illusion that they might actually win, and therefore only contributing to escalation, seems very reasonable.

@155gerard I don't think you really believe that yourself. Why would he do something that stupid? He doesn't care about Russia or the Russian people, everybody knows that. Before the war UA declined the renewal leasing of Sevastopol and maybe you can argue it's another reason for invading UA maybe, but nukes..?! He's not stupid or crazy, there's nothing to be gained from that, and he understands we have to respond to that and what that actually would mean for him.
