@vector4753 - Causality numbers coming from Ukraine are not to be believed but the numbers from British military intelligence, the oldest and most vaunted & respected intelligence agency in the world, are to be believed. Same with the U.S. government although they are tight lipped and the large permit military think tanks like RAND and the ISW. All other sources I take with a grain of salt.

@Marie Tsuki - That’s not true, Russia has been taking massive casualties because they are on the offensive which always takes more casualties compared to defenders but it’s much worse for them because they are using human wave tactics with untwined troops. Russia does have a 3:1 advantage in artillery but it’s not accurate at all, they hit quadrants not individual targets, it’s an area weapon for them while Ukraine snipes with its much more accurate western artillery pulse they are in reinforced bunkers that can take a direct hit from a 152mm shell and I know that’s true because I built them as a combat engineer in the military. British intelligence has confirmed a 4:1 to 6:1 kill ratio advantage for Ukraine and that over 200,000 casualties but they are not clear on if this is dead & injured or dead only, I think it’s both dead and wounded but Russia has been taken huge casualties this year on their so called winter offensive, they were losing 1,000 troops a day in Bakhmut a couple weeks ago, again confirmed by British intelligence. Now that Bakhmut has turned into MOUT operation the casualties rate is equal, 1:1 and up to 400 Ukrainians a day are dying there.

@theclotshotdidit3115 - All of that ancient history does not matter, that is not how the modern world operates and has operated since the end of WWII, the borders were decided in the 1991 settlement after the Soviet Union failed, Crimea is Ukraine and always will be Ukrainian, Russia has no claim on it and they will be ejected and the Kerch bridge will be destroyed again, for good this time as soon as HIMSRS is in range.

Yes, it failed so bad in Kharkiv that Russians were throwing down their weapons and fleeing towards the Russian border, giving Ukraine its biggest windfall of weapons in the entire war.

@eufrosniad994 - Russia annexed 4 regions of Ukraine last September, Putin had a big party and was on stage singing and holding hands with the people who he put in charges of these regions, two whom have already been assassinated. Kherson is considered Russian land so why did they run away instead of using nukes? Those nukes are the size of the Hiroshima bomb, there will most definitely be fallout but the real reason he wouldn’t dream of using them is that NATO would get directly involved and destroy every Russian passion & ship in the Black Sea fleet in less than a week from the air without setting foot in Ukraine. Look at what Ukraine had done with only 1.7 % of NATO’s arsenal if you don’t think that’s possible with all their firepower and 3 million man active duty military.

@eufrosniad994 - Russia annexed Donbas and two additional areas of Ukraine which they don’t even control, they are part of Russia so why don’t they use nukes instead of retreating? Putin will never use tactical nukes, that would cause much much more damage & fallout for Russia than any minimal gain it would give them and besides he would be nuking his own troops as they don’t have any NBC gear or training and also fallout would drift over to Russian cities. He would have to use a minimum of 6 nukes to even make a difference on the battlefield, NATO would get directly involved and the Russian army would be defeated in a few days along with every ship in their Black Sea fleet would be sunk and that would be much more humiliating than what Ukraine is doing to them now.

@Propagandamouth - No, 200k killed with 400k wounded with 120k of those wounded having life altering injuries like missing limbs & eyes. It’s a little optimistic and I don’t put much into it, I believe the numbers that come from British Intelligence which are a little lower.

@henkschrader4513 - Russia moved its airborne units into Bakhmut a few weeks ago, they are on the Eastern & Southern flanks of the partial encirclement, Wagner is on the Eastern flank. I think the regular Russian troops went on their offensive in other cities mostly south of Bakhmut like Vuhledar whereas Wagner did the vast majority of Bakhmut but that’s recently changed, Wagner has been cut off from its convict cannon fodder and that’s the only thing that worked for them.

I have seen nothing from Russia that tells me that they are going to win this war, look at how dismal their mobilized troops have done and any further mobilizations will have even lower quality of troops. Russia cannot produce enough war materials to sustain the only way they know how to fight - massive artillery. I have seen nothing but total and complete incompetence with the Russian military since day one while the Ukrainian military is beyond impressive with what they have done & accomplished. Russia will definitely never take any more territory or regain the cities they recently lost and I don’t believe they will be able to hold what they were able to seize in the first days of this war, they are just that incompetent and Russian troops know this is a meaningless bullshit war, a vanity project of Putin that they want no part of.

@mariogmajner6549 - Yes between the parts of the Donbas they have and the ports they do have a stranglehold on the Ukrainian economy but that doesn’t really matter when America & Europe are propping it up by pouring billions in every month. Russia will not be able to hold that land because Ukraine will never give up, they will constantly be attacking & shelling making it just too costly to hold onto year after year, the amount of Russian troops & materials needed just to secure those area are larger than the Russian military itself. The West is just not going to give up either because they are supporting a country they see as fighting against the modern day version of Nazi Germany.

First is was we will nuke Ukraine if we have to and wait until the real Russian army & weapons show up because they are only using reserves troops not the real active duty professional army and they are getting rid of old ammo & weapons first before the good stuff comes out of but none of that ever happened of course and the “professional” Russian army was wiped out but oh you just wait until those 300,000 mobilized men arrive, they will be taking back all the cities they lost, sure they are in their 50’s and alcoholic but these are grizzled Afghanistan veteran and you would drink too if you went through what they did. @arturssakirovs619 - What in the hell does the amount of weapons they are receiving have to do if they are winning or not, that doesn’t make a bit of sense? Despite what Ukraine has received they are still far far less powerful than Russia who also has 4 times the population, even with these superior NATO weapons they and still only have a small fraction of the weapons Russia has. Ukraine is winning because they are fighting for their very right to exist and Russians army is just so pathetic and demoralized, they know they are fighting in Putins useless vanity war. NATO has only given Ukraine 1.7% of their firepower, although for the first time heavy offensive weapons are being sent, it’s going to get very interesting once Ukraine goes on its offensive, it won’t be like the current Russian offensive which is a complete failure and somewhat comical.

@HANUMAN7454 - Russian artillery is very inaccurate, they have to shoot 100 shells to hit close to their intended target whereas Ukrainian artillery is very accurate because they are professional troops with western guns & shells that are much more accurate, they hit tanks & APC’s with their shells which Russia cannot. Russia is sending in human waves of untrained conscripts into fortified Ukrainian positions and thus is why 7 Russians die for every Ukrainian. Bakhmut is being used as a Russian killing ground to deplete them of men & materials before their spring offensive starts, we have seen Russias spring offense and all they did was get completely wiped out in Vuldahar Lol!! Half of Russias mobilized army of untrained drunks has been wiped out, and this is after their entire “professional army” was wiped out in the first 6 months of the war 🤣

Wait a minute, why will there be a Spring Offensive in Bakhmut when we have been told weekly for the past 6 months that Russia was on the verge of capturing it? You can’t tell me the mighty Russian military, the second most powerful in the world, can’t even take a small town only 25 miles from its own border after throwing everything they had at it for the last 8 months and losing 30,000 men in the process. Bakhmut will fall any day now.

Yeah Russia pushed hard in Vhuladar a week ago and lost over 130 tanks and 5,000 men killed & captured and these were Russian Marines, the best they had, and Ukraine completely wiped out an entire Russian regiment in two days.
