@joshgh8844 Soy boy? I'm a 25 yr career Army Officer, combat vet and a conservative Republican you millennial dipsh't.... lol Check this out: The "central bank" was never abolished, the Reichsbank existed from 1876 to 1945. Interest on loans was never abolished, ass clown. The huge inflation was a Reichsbank tactic to undermine war reparations payments, it served a specific purpose. The "7 million" the Nazis put back to work started by no longer counting women and Jews among the unemployment statistics, thus falsely cutting them down. The public works projects were built on government money that didn't exist, only in loan form on paper. The "massive cheering crowds" are propaganda films and don't represent the 65% of Germany that voted for parties other than the f'ing Nazis. You're a conspiracy lemming, Nazi fanbois idiot. Congrats dipsh't. Deutschland uber alles and long live the Kaiser! Fck u and the Nazis...

Wish I could give you a thousand thumbs up! An educated voice of reason.

The Nazis never got more than 38% of the popular vote, and that was their best result from any election. The last free election in 1932 resulted in 33%, clearly they were losing ground as conditions in Germany improved.

Hyperinflation is how you beat unfair war reparations. Its calculated, tactical, methodical....

Prussian Revivalist Dipsh't, you can't be a "Prussian revivalist" and a Nazi fanbois at the same time. Royalists hate the Nazis, what part of that don't you get? Its like claiming to be in two opposing political parties simultaneously. As for the rest of your rant, clearly you're a moron.

@Makeyourselfbig My comment was spot on in light of your dogmatic and wrongheaded indictment based on old stereotypes long since proven false. Cheers

@Makeyourselfbig I don't have a theory, but I do have an understanding of 19th century Germany. As you say: "1871 so it had no great democratic traditions. Dominated by Prussian militarism it was always prime territory for a right wing dictatorship". Perhaps you could explain the 1848 revolutions across the German states and what the issues were? Seems they do not conform to your ideas of "prime territory for a right wing dictatorship". Explain how the Reichstag functioned, was supported by the electorate and what effect Bismarck's 1867 reforms had. Do you suppose its notable that the strongest party in "Militaristic" Germany after 1871 was the National Liberal party? Champion for anti-socialist laws and a democratic power broker in a constitutional monarchy. That's just less than 1% of the narrative, but lays out the base subject matter for deeper analysis. I don't care for your ignorant parroting of bigoted BS that is just a 2nd order effect of 100 year old propaganda, thus my original comment. But what the hell and why give a sht, its just an intellectually barren back alley of youtube...
