  4.  @chrisevans1255  Well you would have to be introducing some other context in order to show that Aristotle's trip to Lesbos was for something other than his love of knowledge, where none is extant. Likewise, you would have to show some other cause for Marx's continual failure to do anything productive than his belief that he deserves the fruits of other people's labour, but I do not see the context, when many others were able to accomplish this feat.

  5.  @chrisevans1255  Evidently he didn't believe a word he wrote; however not everyone suffers from cognitive dissonance, such as Aristotle, Descartes, and Marx.

  6.  @chrisevans1255  Well for a couple more examples: Can we separate Aristotle's philosophic position that knowledge was essential to a happy life from his decision to go on an expedition to Lesbos to basically found the field of biology? Can we separate Rene Descartes's position that knowledge only comes by racking your brain hard enough and his decision to spend the time in between waking up and getting out of bed at 1100 hours everyday thinking?
