  11. I am from Taiwan, based on my observation 90% of Taiwanese people consider Taiwan itself a country, different from China. This percentage is higher, though, compared to what people thought of Taiwan decades ago! If you asked older people in Taiwan, more would consider them Japanese or Chinese, and others consider them Taiwanese depending on the situation.

  16. 您好，其實台灣人親日主要跟日本人曾經在台灣住了五十年有關！台灣人從老的到年輕的很多在生活上帶著濃厚的日本文化，而且這邊老一輩的會講日文，曾經有日本名字。台灣其實很多舊的建築物是日本人蓋的！台灣的文化，感覺很像中華融合了日本那種！您有空來台灣可以看看舊式房子，很多日本人蓋的！

Do you mean if China used military forces on Taiwan for the issue, America won't take any action at all? There is a channel I often watch here in Taiwan, called SETN! The people invited to the shows sometimes discuss the issue between Taiwan and China. I will just convey what they think might happen to you. They think China consider Taiwan a part of China, but Taiwan is not. Pelosi visiting Taiwan probably indicates something, that US government probably acknowledged Taiwan as a country itself, and China should never use violence on solving the conflict. I don't know what happen in future, but peaceful solutions seems the way to go. What do you think of it?
