“ A lesbian Latino sheriff running for Governor of Texas” . All she is missing is being transgender and the left would hold her up as a GOD

simone Visions3L7 So please tell me what specific qualities does being a man who thinks he’s a woman or a woman who thinks she’s a man bring to the table to give them a shot at being the leader of the free world

BlueFlowers are you purposely being obtuse.. she literally stated in writing “ transgender for President”

BlueFlowers you seem to forget this women was presented as a lesbian Latino sheriff and nothing was mentioned about her merits. That is the difference between liberals and conservatives. As a conservative we judge people solely on their merits and character and the identity group is irrelevant , however liberals will always judge on their identity group first

Tjk 92 call me insensitive but the courage to face ridicule for thinking they’re are a woman trapped in a mans body does not give me the peace of mind to think they have the policies, economics credentials, leadership and mental stability to run a lemonade stand let alone the country.

BlueFlowers it doesn’t matter if everyone sees someone’s identity first. Meritocracy is blind to your race, sexuality, sex, religion or whatever. The fact that Van Jones leads with “ a lesbian Latino sherif” shows that liberals see and value identity more than their merits. Conservatives don’t care what your identity is as long as you are the best qualified for the job.

BlueFlowers I own a business and hire people.. I am not blind to their identity, I just choose not to take it into account. I want the best person who is going to benefit my business so will make judgments on merits , like experience, qualifications, communications skills etc.. I’m repeating myself here , but I don’t care about people’s identity , whether they are lesbian or Latino is totally irrelevant, I just want the best person for the job. If you really want to help minorities ... stop making their identity an issue as in most cases they can’t change that. Instead promote meritocracy, as anyone who puts their mind to it can improve their employability by appropriate education and skills education... you will find in the real world most employers are like me and want their business to be successful so will hire the best people for the job.

BlueFlowers I understand what you’re saying and maybe you personally don’t care about identity , but the fact that Van Jones is celebrating that this lady is a lesbian Latino and the audience are cheering that up suggests that CNN which is an extremely left leaning media outlet puts high value on this woman’s identity rather then any of her qualities and so does its audience.
