Leonel Ventura he’s only been in office 3 years for a start and has 5 years to go. However president aren’t judged on popularity . They are judged on how good the economy is , unemployment is and whether they were able to deliver on their promises and so far trump is delivering big time

@dan mac major tax reform, deregulation, 160 constitutional judges appointed including 2 on SCOTUS, moving embassy to Jerusalem, building the wall, ending NAFTA and TTP , getting out of Paris Climate accord and Iran nuclear deal. Bringing manufacturing jobs back ( 500000 to date) and many more.

@dan mac you are so wrong on so many points. Trumps tax reform reduced federal taxes for all Americans, however if you live in a state with high local and state taxes which is basically all Democrats states. There was a limit on deductions of $10000 on state and local taxes which was a brilliant move to make sure high taxing states are held accountable to their residents. Deregulation is designed to reduce costs and wasted time for business , it does not increase costs for the middle class. Jerusalem embassy was a promise the last 4 presidents made but trump was the only one with the balls to do it and since then 6 other countries have committed to doing the same and more will no doubt follow. With the wall about 80 miles of 18 to 30 foot steel bollard walls have been build to replace exist useless wire fences that stopped nothing and by end of 2020 it should be up to 450 miles. Paris climate accord was a useless waste of money as it did not put any pressure on China and India to reduce emissions until 2030. Also since dropping out the US still leads every country in reducing CO2 emissions. @Jack Bushong that didn’t work for Obama when he pumped trillions in. In fact business confidence was floundering when he was in office. As soon as trump was elected business confidence skyrocketed. That is why the economy is booming under trump.

@Nevyn of OZ 1973 higher education is not free or subsidised as university students come out with a huge HECS debt after completing their degrees . As far a healthcare goes it’s not free as everyone pays a Medicare Levy of 2% of their income even if they have private coverage. Waiting periods are horrible where you can wait more than 12 months for knee or hip surgery. The Private health system is not bad , however premiums keep going up which forces more and more people off private cover which puts more pressure on the public system. So don’t pretend everything is fine in Australia. Electricity costs are horrendous , unemployment is at 5.3% which is not bad , however the US is at 3.5% and As I said before Australia has a GDP growth of 0.4% whereas the US has a GDP growth of 2.1%
