@philipmullins5185 many laws have had a negative impact on children… no fault divorce ended up horribly for kids , easy welfare for unmarried mothers was horrible for generating a plague of fatherless children .and now we have gay couple being able to adopt children…I see a rocky road ahead for these children

@philipmullins5185 kids aren’t raised in a vacuum. We already know many adopted kids in straight families have identity issues from preschool to adolescence. Imagine how much worse it is when raised by gay adopted parents.

@June Miller so if you left your husband for no other reason than you didn’t love him anymore ( he didn’t cheat or abuse you or was at “fault”) then you have done your kids a disservice. If he was beating you or cheating on you then there is a reason for you to divorce him otherwise I thinks it’s selfish to put your own needs before the children you have brought into the world. Sure ! divorce when the kids are grown up but don’t stuff them up be divorcing while they are still developing
