We didn't get any great benefit, we just lost our manufacturing industry & half our bird life, because EU insisted on ripping up hedgerows / shelterbelts of trees.   5. TCt83067695 Paying to be in "single market' is not a free market but tariffs in another form. EU has had it both ways, now if they want tariffs on our goods we put tariffs on their goods. Equality of trading!

TCt83067695 The misunderstanding is with the word "access " We now have tariff free access, when we have left the EU we may have to pay tariffs in the same way other countries outside the EU pay tariffs but we will receive more in the tariffs we charge on EU goods. the net income from taxable profit on goods sold to the EU is not great so we will be better off paying a mutually acceptable tariff than billions more than we receive in tax on goods sold to EU
