@pepperroni6252 Trevor Coult MC reckons the L85 is better than the M4 variants and he has shot people dead. So since I have not fired either I take his word for it!

@thereaper_unspoken7245 Unlike you I have no desire to shoot anyone. The UK is taking on the M4 type to replace it's SA80 type bullpups which had to happen eventually just like AWAX etc The UK is 20 years behind the US and likes to give all the government contracts to their friends, These are the people who knocked back the Whitworth rifle and considered the Thompson a Gangster gun. Until they decided they needed them. Then built the cheapest tube gun in the world.
