  1. I love this, weird, wonky, clunky, and French. (Okay, Hotchkiss was American, so it's like the French Lewis gun. At the time, the army just decided we don't need Machineguns, until we needed machineguns, so then we bought French ones. Even Hiram Maxim, and John Moses Browning wound up going to Europe, because the AOD was so stingy, and conservative.)
