@lairdcummings9092 This isn't "Hate." It's history. Cultural context. A cultural artifact is useless, except for what it tells us about us. Not Somalia, US. This is America. Love it, or hate it, don't lie to yourself about it. We're not "Stable." Somehow, you've twisted it around so that the land of the Western is "Stable" compared to Somalia. The Colt single action army. Remember that cultural symbol? Playing cowboys, and Indians? Blazing Saddles, ringing any bells? These are also weapons, not symbolic of stability. We don't make movies about Stability, we make movies about Dirty Harry, and Gotham.

@alkestos No, if someone is killed in an assault, during the commission of a Felony, it's first degree murder. Legally, even if he doesn't happen to be a police officer. It doesn't matter what that felony is, but breaking, and entering, trespassing on federal property, and assaulting a police officer all count. So yeah, cop killer. Legally.

@willgillespie4840 Who said anything about "Agreements?" Why don't you try picking apart the points I made, instead of making up ones you think you can argue with? Riots, civil war, massacres, serial killers, police brutality, and attacks on the legislature. Pretty much anything they have to call the National Guard (that's the Militia) for? Is not a sign of Stability. Okay, we managed to quell these things, before they destroyed America, so far, but "never any moral argument" is not in any definition of stability, ever. Nitroglycerine has no moral quarrel with sawdust.

I trust you to look up Insurrection, but they killed a police officer, interrupted the legislature in session, and chased them out of the building. Is that what you call "Stable?" We can argue semantics all day, but the truth doesn't change, just because you want to re-write the dictionary.

@twa2471 Brian Sicknick. He was a DCPD officer on duty, and he was killed by the "Political Event." Or riot, or whatever you're calling it now. If anyone dies in a "Political event," let alone a police officer, that's a sign that something has gone wrong. It doesn't matter if it was a heart attack (From being maced) it doesn't matter, legally if he died at the scene, or they got him to the hospital trying to save his life, either. He was killed in the line of duty, that's what it's going to say on his tombstone, and the docket charging his killers. The cop killers you're defending because it doesn't fit your political agenda.

@alkestos Okay, let's just ignore that incident. I said Riots, plural. Massacres, Plural. Serial killers, plural. None of these are signs of stability. A lot of things happened over the past 5 years that you don't want to talk about, but none of them were stabilizing either, except for the global pandemic. That actually stopped the massacres, riots, and police lynchings for almost a year. If it takes a global pandemic to calm things down, that's not a sign of a stable system.

Doctor Blome Nobody claimed we lived in a stable nation. I pointed out that America isn't particularly stable, and a bunch of people decided to redefine what the word Stable means. The word Armed, Insurrection, change a Riot into "Political Event," and defend cop killers. But nobody has yet claimed that America is "Stable." For the record.

@cnlbenmc Ah, okay, nobody touched him in a riot. (Which is why nobody's been arrested for the assault.) The police teargass could have been the cause, if the police had teargassed the building. You remember when they teargased the capital building, and it only affected that 1 cop? (That everyone was careful not to touch.) None of the rioters were wearing masks. Assuming that the instability is all caused by "the left." How exactly did "The left" cause that riot? The massacres, the police shootings... All that instability, how exactly does the left do it, on the right's watch?

@andrewjohnson1016 Thanks for bumping this topic! Now, if you pay attention to the news, the plan is to Stabilize the Pacific by sharing nuclear secrets with Australia. The Pacific, which is a word for "Peaceful," in Spanish. Because those waters were so unstable before we announced on international news that we're handing out Nukes, and Boomers to carry them. I'm sure that will calm China right down.
