  3.  @alicetopel6645  I am not denying the existence of diversity, multiple viewpoints based on one's subjective experiences, or that cruelty and unfairness exist in the world. I simply do not consider a juvenile joke made by the OP to be comparable to most problems throughout the world. Being easily offended does not mean one is right when projecting character and intent upon someone else. What is considered offensive and disrespectful is very subjective, and hurt feelings are not the same as true violence or oppression. Much of the language used by those claiming a victim status originates in political movements intended to oppose or subjugate the free speech of political opposition. By constantly controlling the language of others ( being a gatekeeper as to what constitutes allowed speech ), one can control the political and cultural narrative and vilify those who are in disagreement. You make valid points, and by no means do I think that you should be disrespected. I simply suggest that the OP did not likely intend to disrespect women, and I do not believe he is a misogynist ( I am probably holding a popular view in this regard with the majority of his viewers ). I just see your point as being somewhat melodramatic, and clearly I can tell that you are an intelligent, passionate, and proud woman who I certainly deem worthy of respect. I just think that your energy would be better used elsewhere rather than obsessing over someone's vulgar humor. But thank you for the food for thought, I might disagree with you on some areas, but I appreciate your well thought out discussion, thanks.
