I've been following this since the late 1970's. So far Every damn prediction made has been WRONG.

@ryanotte6737 There are 5 words a Flight Chief told me 50 years ago. But...I...Could...Be...Wrong. Is the Climate Changing? HELLO. Thing is I am not an Alarmist. Why? Because over and over and over, and over We have been told that we are 10 years away from the end of the world as we know it. here we still are. In 1989, the United Nations announced we only had until the year 2000 to save the planet from global warming.

@ryanotte6737 "Again, your assessment of these may in fact be skewed" How are the Skewed? You can look them up AP, UIP, Washington Post, Nature, The New York Times (a former newspaper.... these are other are the sources.

@ryanotte6737 "While there may have been a handful of inaccurate media sources over many years, that isn't necessarily representative of the science." A handful? Try ALL the major media outlets (including Nature, Scientific American) in the last 40+ years. It is Doctrine. There was a time, in the 1980's when I bought into it. As time went on, and the (Dire) predictions never came to pass, I started questioning The Narrative. I then started running across Credentialed people who doubted *The Narrative.

*The Narrative, on Any given topic if you read in your newspaper, watch on TV (the Corporate Media, the Mainstream Media, The Approved Media) you will basically one and only one view. Often using the same words. This is what I call The Narrative. Question The Narrative. Sometimes it is correct, sometimes not. Questioning the received wisdom is something people need to do. By questioning I mean really Looking at the alternative view. Sometimes they will be right, sometimes wrong. But you will then know What they really say, and Why they say it. This is called knowledge.
