  1. When I was in maybe 3rd? 4th grade? I remember the teacher talking about how alligators were a problem in the EverGlade but our National Wildlife Orgs. swore it'd never be a big problem nor would it affect neighboring states. I remember laughing hysterically and actually getting in trouble for doing so and the teacher asking me finally 'Would you like to tell the rest of the class whats so funny?' And I wiped the tears from my eyes and said 'Ya, that you believe that BullSh-T. Those things are going to migrate all the way up the East Coast. They're gonna be in AL, MS, TN, the CAROLINAs. They'll make their way all the way up into Maryland.' She chastised me for being a child questioning the experience and expertise of our GOV. Mhmmm. )

  5. What people dont know is that they can hibernate and completely slow their metabolism down to where they're essentially dead during colder weather. Thats why they can migrate up to states with cooler seasons.
