  4. Well, ROE V WADE really had nothing to do with viability. All that stuff came later in an effort to keep ROE V WADE viable. But it is true that our knowledge of human development is way beyond what it was in 1970. We know a child can feel pain at 3 weeks. We know they react violently to the suction devices that are used to tear infants apart. Their heart rate goes up, their stress levels increase and they try and move away to avoid them. That ALONE is VIABILITY according to the most BASIC BIOLOGICAL standards for what LIFE IS.
