When this kind of behavior was exhibited in my local school system I would call it out. I would call teachers out school board members, it didn't matter. I remember being in 7th grade maybe and one of these teachers keeping after class to ask me 'Why do you care so much about any of this? What is it to you?' And I said 'because if we allow corruption and cover-ups to succeed in our local school systems and in our local politics we will see this as the rule of thumb everywhere. It will become pandemic. and it won't be a few students and parents suffering It'll be everyone suffering.' Guy shrugged it off and said 'Ive never a 13 year old who'd even think about it.' I said 'Ya, you have. Youre looking at him.' And here we are a few decades later.
