Well, the fact they've known this Jack individual for a long time and is associated with the daughter means nothing outside of the psychological attachment they have to their own daughter and this Jack person is simply an extension of that. If this Jack person is found to be a suspect and then later proven to have committed the crime it will feel like their daughter dying twice because they will use him to keep their daughter 'alive' to them. Thats a big problem.

  4.  @cocokai9661  Thats why you dont 'do breaks' and you don't 'break up' and 'remain friends.' If you break up you separate and have nothing more to do with each other. Its the only way to avoid multiple kinds of trouble in the future. I made that mistake once but never again. Ever since that almost 7 year relationship every gf after I told up front 'If we break up you'll never hear from me or see me. I don't want to hear from you. I don't want to see you. We're done and that'll be it.' Strange how you can be upfront like that and girls think you don't mean it until you do it. Then they have no idea how to take it. Its the only way to do it though. People need to learn to walk away and stay away.
