@fatemehm2949 Aretha Franklin was Fred's favorite singer. Thats where his gospel influence came from. Ya Somebody to Love was perfect.

@fatemehm2949 You wouldnt believe the grief I went through listening to Queen as much as I did. Absolute non-stop grief. Vindication is mine... SAITH ME.

@fatemehm2949 Well, I don't really think of their music in term of mood as much as I do in versatility of texture, tone, composition, commercial appeal while remaining musical which is something they gleaned from the Beatles and Zeppelin. Queen represented everything the perfect group is. They were the most dangerous band on planet earth for 20 years. Freddie is the most sensitive singer in pop music history. Course, his influences were Motown and the Du-wop groups of the 50s. He took what was great from different genres and styles and blended them in ways no one has. The way his life ended breaks my heart but I will always admire him and admire his gift. Theres nothing like it and no one can touch it.
