  2.  @Alarix246  Best way to not offend people is to NOT care whether you offend people. See, thats pretense. Thats proven to make people feel OFFENDED more deeply than what you just say because that makes them IMAGINE what you're not saying and they just fill in the blanks.

  3. Yep. The first mega church I accepted a position with I had a meeting with the Exec. Pastor and he handed me books that ALL had to do with 'language.' It was under the guise of understanding the church culture there. I brought the books back a few weeks later and he said 'Well?' and I said 'Well?' He said 'What did you think?' I said 'All you did by giving me these books is ask me not to take you seriously.' I will never forget the look on his face. Utter shock.

  4. Well, when Democrats agree to stop using the N word privately I'll consider stop using 'people of color' or 'colored people' or 'Rainbow people' or 'The Great Federation of Skittles' or whatever publicly.
