  1. Kazakhstan situation was a bit weird. Their electricity prices didn't go up from what I remember, it was mainly about natural gas prices for vehicles and for domestic consumers. They were closing the gap between market price and regulated price for citizens which is always a place for different corruption schemes. They seem to have insufficient electricity generation, hence chinese crypto industry have small chances in migrating there. They were planning on building a russian nuclear power plant. Despite being one of the major uranium ore suppliers it just happened so that most of their uranium mining sites are under russian control. For some reason I tend to connect their failures in South Africa (Zuma corruption scandals over nuclear power plants), inability to help Iran with their nuclear program and control over uranium ore reserves around the world.
