  1.  @hugoporras86  Please be specific. Which part of history does Japan ignore? As long as I know, American high school doesn’t have a standard history textbook. Some schools teach massacre of native Americans but some don’t. Probably none teaches Nyriya testimony of gulf war, massacre in Philippines, and air strike on villages in Korean War.

President Trump didn’t make any speech on massacred native American on thanksgiving as long as I know. August 5 is Japanese holiday to mourn victims of wwii and celebrate the peace they enjoy now. There are many ceremonies, tv programs, and articles to remember the war. Btw Japan is only one country in the world who has apologized and paid compensations for colonization and invasion. United States has never apologized for any war, invasion, colonization, massacre and atrocities.
