It's not that they are out touch, It's all about greed, one of the best things I learned From my ex , she was a manager of a store, and when she would catch a thief she was told by her regional manager to not catch them to let them go, cause say the person steals a 100 dollar item, the store reports to their insurance company that the thief stole 3 or 4 of them, and actually makes money off the theft, amazing huh.
