@rogerc23 china and thailand is not trying to expel over a million people from their country. South africa has some anti immigrant parties, but they are nowhere close to being influential enough to challenge the ANC.

@yp77738yp77739 oh they are prepared all right. you just have to look for examples. the rich will take a portion of the landmass and secede from the poorer parts (somaliland). they will get legitimacy by establishing relations with economically or militarily powerful states (like somaliland and ethiopia). The rest of the population will be confined to their geographic boundaries with increasingly hostile climate and lowering production of necessities. They will be given enough food and medicine to survive. when the population becomes unsustainable and they rebel, they will be "shrinked", like we are seeing in gaza. We can already see how this will be dealt with and it is not gonna be UBI or whatever utopia you have in your head.

@yp77738yp77739 you overestimate your power. tell me, if tomorrow, the corporates and the military takes a chunk off west germany and secedes citing extremism or economic mismatch, what can you possibly do to stop them? haiti could not stop dominican republic. somalia could not stop somaliland. iraq tried to stop kuwait and look how that ended. I think living in europe for too long has clouded your judgement on how the real world works outside your golden towers. your violent rev will go as far as its going in gaza. like I said, they will keep you fed and fit for work but no more. you try to demand more by force, you will be destroyed citing extremism and any measure taken afterwards will be internationally justified. why do you think the global south has suddenly turned away from you despite how dangerous china and russia is? that is because they know you wont bother to fish out their corpses from your shores even if they were starving or getting killed back home. people will have to look after themselves.
