You fought honorably with courage. Victory belongs to you, Legendary Russian Warriors. You deserve our eternal gratitude, we salute you.🫡 Those who have fallen will forever be remembered. Russian heroes, your sacrifice will never be forgotten. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of those who you protect.

@Hermod1995 The primary Russian objective is to demilitarize Ukraine and thus prevent the nato threat. The territorial gains are not the primary objective for Russia. Russia also wants to liberate the ethnic Russians living in Ukraine who were treated as subhuman and being oppressed. An additional objective is to denazify Ukraine.

@Hermod1995 Nato is unable to keep up with ammo supply demands, due to poor logistics. Advantage Russia. nato will lose this proxy war.

@Hermod1995 Some people mention Poland. Russia is not interested in taking Poland. You cannot control a nation where you don't have the hearts and minds of the populace.
1
@Hermod1995 The only time Russian troops would attack Poland is if Poland decides to get directly involved in Ukraine without Russia's permission.
1
@Hermod1995 Example: if Polish airports are used to support the Ukrainian air force. In that case Russia might be forced to attack and obliterate those airports.
1
@Hermod1995 Example: if Polish troops enter Ukraine and get directly involved in the conflict, Russia will be forced to respond. (this does not apply for mercenaries) Polish mercenaries will be eliminated but Poland will not be attacked. That has been the situation for a long time.

@Hermod1995 Same applies for Ukraine. Russia is only interested in regions where they have the hearts and minds of the populace.

@Hermod1995 Russia is not interested in western Ukraine. Russia doesn't have the hearts and minds of the populace in western Ukraine.

@Hermod1995 Russia is interested in the annexed regions. Future peace negotiations will be difficult. New realities: Russia has held referendums in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts. The citizens in these regions voted to join Russia. Any future peace negotiations will take into account "new realities". Russia has offered to negotiate many times. If Ukraine is willing to accept the "new realities" there will be a negotiated settlement. The following are the results of the referendums after all the ballots have been counted. Donetsk People’s Republic: 99.23% of participants in the region voted to join Russia. (2,116,800 voters) Luhansk: 98.42% of participants in the region voted to join Russia (1,636,302 voters). Zaporizhzhia: 93.11% of participants in the region voted to join the Russian Federation (541,093 voters). Kherson: 87.05% of participants in the region voted to join the Russian Federation (571,001 voters took part).

@Hermod1995 If the conflict continues without a negotiated settlement, Russia might annex more regions. (Odessa in particular)
1
@Hermod1995 If the conflict continues without a negotiated settlement, Russian troops will be forced to occupy western Ukraine in order to completely demilitarize Ukraine.
1
@Hermod1995 In that case the entire nation of Ukraine will be under Russian occupation for an undisclosed amount of time.
1
@Hermod1995 Once Ukraine has been demilitarized and denazified, Russia will declare mission accomplished and Russian troops will begin an incremental withdrawal from western Ukraine. (note this scenario only applies if there is no negotiated settlement)
1
@Hermod1995 If nato wants to directly intervene, Russia will be forced to destroy nato. (by any means necessary)

@Hermod1995 NATO needs to learn that playing Russian roulette with a nuclear superpower is never a good idea.

@Hermod1995 Russia will move Heaven and Earth to do what must be done.

@Hermod1995 Russian Strategic Rocket Forces are the best in the world. Russia has successfully tested the modern RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile (most powerful ICBM in the world). Russia has produced Poseidon nuclear capable super torpedoes. Only Russia has this capability. The Russian Defence Ministry successful tested the Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle. Read about its capabilities. Russia has successfully test-launched a new missile defense system A-235 PL-19 Nudol (anti-ballistic and anti-satellite missile system). Best in the world. Russia has successfully tested the S-500 Prometey. Advanced features of the S-500 include: very high degree of situational awareness with an 800km detection range against aircraft, ability to intercept satellites and ICBMs, and its ability to network with older air defense systems such as the S-400 to maximize situational awareness. Russia successfully tested the new S-550 air defense system, this air defense system has entered combat duty. Russia also has very advanced hypersonic missiles (Kh-47M2 Kinzhal, 3M22 Zircon). Russia also has the BrahMos-II hypersonic cruise missile and many other cruise missiles. Russia's Kh-55SM cruise missile has a range similar to US AGM-129 (3000 km), but is able to carry a more powerful warhead of 200 kt. Russia's 9K720 Iskander is a mobile short-range ballistic missile system with an operational range of approximately 500km. The 9M730 Burevestnik will soon become operational. (nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed cruise missile)
