Australia will spend up to $368 billion over the next three decades to buy a fleet of eight nuclear-powered submarines. Beginning in the early 2030s, the U.S. will sell Australia as many as five Virginia class submarines. As you can see the deal is terrible. High cost and extremely slow delivery.

  21.  @TheReferrer72  Russia's national security was compromised once nato began to expand eastwards. They clearly stated that Ukraine joining nato was a red line and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated that if nothing changes, they will be forced to act in order to defend their national security. You must understand that enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.

  26.  @TheReferrer72  This conflict was preventable. If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.

  27.  @TheReferrer72  In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas. If you don't believe me, do your own research and find out for yourself.

  28.  @TheReferrer72  That's because they never intended to hold that territory. The intent of those actions was to bring Ukraine to the negotiating table. Unfortunately for both parties the negotiations failed. It's very sad.

  30.  @TheReferrer72  NATO is not a defensive alliance. The war machine called NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter). Also, don't forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan etc. Open your eyes.
