  5. @Lawofimprobability it's because of heavy heavy corruption. Engineering is done on a best condition basis meaning not allowing for ground settling, wind, load etc. Then construction is farmed off to family members, then suppliers are close relatives with each level taking a cut. So in the end the only way to make money for the actual construction company is to skimp on skilled labor and materials. And so we have this epic failure

  11.  @medx1553  I hope they're rare too it's not funny when people die or get injured. Of the few that makes it to "official news" we all know 90% gets deleted or erased from official news sources. Let's just hope there is reform to really stop corruption. The powerful keeps getting richer while the people suffer
